Burning Schedule

The burning of landscape waste is permitted only between April 1 and May 31 and between October 1 and December 15.

In addition, the City Council, by majority vote, may permit the burning of landscape waste on specifically identified dates

(other than Sundays, holidays and parade days) outside of such time periods.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the burning of wet leaves is not permitted at any time.

Days and Hours

Burning of landscape waste shall only be allowed on Monday through Saturday, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and sunset;

notwithstanding the foregoing, burning of landscape waste shall not be allowed on Easter,

Memorial Day, Columbus Day, Halloween, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and parade days.

“Parade days” shall mean the day of any parade on the streets of the City for which the City Council has granted a special event license
